My name is Penny Walker. I have a BA in Creative Writing from Curtin University. My personal focus is on long form writing but I have experience with poetry, memoir, non-fiction and short stories.

It doesn’t matter if you’ve never written before. Come along and be inspired. 

Each session there will be wild writing exercises designed to fit whatever your preferred genre, and plenty of support and encouragement. Often pieces of work created during exercises become a jumping off point for a story or poem. As I get to know you, I will be able to tailor our sessions to best meet your creative needs. Laptop or a pen and notebook? Whatever works for you. The sessions are two and a half hours long which allows half an hour for coffee and a chat mid-way through.
