Plan Ahead at “Let’s Plan for Life”

Bridgetown–Greenbushes residents are warmly invited to attend an important and empowering community event, Let’s Plan for Life, taking place on Thursday 14 May 2026, from 10:00 am to 2:00 pm at the Bridgetown Town Hall.



This free event brings together information, support, and meaningful conversations under one roof, creating a welcoming space where locals can connect with trusted organisations, ask questions, and learn more about the services available within our community.


A Day Focused on Support, Information, and Connection

Let’s Plan for Life has been designed with the community in mind—particularly older residents, carers, and families who may be navigating complex topics around ageing, health, and future planning.

The event offers a relaxed and supportive environment where people can explore these topics at their own pace.


Informative Keynote Speakers

A highlight of the day will be a series of keynote presentations from experienced professionals, covering topics that many people think about but are often unsure how to approach.

Speaker program:

  • 10:30 am – Geegeelup UpdateSean Mahoney from Geegeelup Village will provide updates on plans and developments.

  • 11:30 am – Voluntary Assisted DyingJaye Lewis, Care Navigator from Rural Health West, will explain the current process, supports, and safeguards.

  • 12:30 pm – Wills and Estate PlanningMatilda Lloyd from Bailiwick Legal will outline key legal considerations, including wills and advance care planning.

  • 1:15 pm – Pre-Planning FuneralsSharon Lomax from William Barrett & Sons will discuss how planning ahead can ease the burden on loved ones.

Each session is designed to be informative, respectful, and easy to understand, with opportunities to ask questions and seek guidance.
